Food For Change was born from the realisation of 4 key points

There are many amazing charities in Australia that provide meals and food to those in need and all of these organisations require more food.
These charities have an amazing distribution network already set up.
There is huge amounts of unused fertile land in every Australian city.
Australians waste over 4 million tonnes of food every year

From here we realised if we set up a charity whose purpose was to produce food on this unused land & rescue food on a small local scale we could then partner with existing organisations to deliver the food to feed hungry Australians!

WHAT WE DO

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS

Our plan to provide food to those in need is a simple one:

1. Grow Food On Unused Land - Either commercial, government or private
2. Use the land as a collection point for all food donations
3. Use the existing network of distribution channels to deliver the food to those in need
4. Further expansion of the organisations who use our food rescue app.

The future for Food For Change is bright and our focus is to reach our goal of being a part of the solution to alleviating hunger in Australia. To do this we are focusing on the following:

1. Securing Land & Partnering With Food Relief Organisations To Grow More Food
2. Expanding The Network Using Our Food Rescue App
3. Distributing the food to those in need in the most cost effective way
